Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients on the 4th floor.
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and progress, and document appropriately in Meditech system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other departments as needed based on hospital policies.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code of navy scrubs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Exposure to Level 1 trauma and stroke center environments preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech documentation system.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures and adapt quickly to new equipment or technology.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
