Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
- Monitor and document patient conditions using electronic medical records.
- Assist with patient procedures such as TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacements, hysterectomies, gallbladders, and appendectomies.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Support patient education and discharge planning as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to travel assignments.
Preferred or Nice-to-Have Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring.
