• Full-time, travel assignment, 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in surgical procedures within the orthopedic surgery unit, including joint replacements, sports medicine, and foot and hand surgeries
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper sterilization and equipment readiness, including Mako Robot utilization
• Support surgical team by providing necessary supplies and maintaining a sterile environment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and documentation requirements using paper-based systems
• Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure smooth workflow during shifts
Required Qualifications
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in a hospital setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with total joint replacements, Mako Robot procedures, and orthopedic surgeries
• Familiarity with sports medicine, hand, and foot surgeries
• Ability to operate advanced surgical equipment and assist in complex orthopedic procedures

Additional Details
• Shift hours: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM, Monday through Thursday
• No previous unit staffing or patient ratio requirements; candidate will support a well-equipped surgical team
• Uniform provided; scrubs are available on-site
