Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shifts, 40 hours per week, possible floating to other units/departments, including campuses in Fargo
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams including abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatric, neonatal head, trauma FAST, abdominal Doppler, and lower extremity venous studies according to protocol
- Complete exam summary worksheets and provide preliminary reports as needed
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and stock rooms
- Adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures
- Utilize ultrasound equipment models GE E9, E10, and S8, and electronic scheduling and charting systems such as Epic Radiant and Epic Radiant
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS credentials with Abdomen and OB/GYN specializations
- Minimum 2 years of strong general ultrasound scanning experience
- BLS certification through AHA
- ND State Imaging License or willingness to obtain
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic Radiant scheduling and patient charting systems
- Knowledge of GE ultrasound models E9, E10, and S8
- Previous experience working in trauma or hospital settings, especially in a level I trauma facility
