Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, nights shift, 13-week assignment, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and specialty laboratory tests in a blood bank environment
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens following established protocols
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with laboratory team to ensure quality and efficiency
- Document test results accurately and thoroughly
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist within the specialty
- Certification as a Med Lab Technologist or Med Lab Scientist (Blood Bank experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a blood bank or transfusion service
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and instrumentation
