- Travel, Nights, 13-week duration, working 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours per shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assist with high-risk pregnancies and perform immediate newborn assessments.
- Support various procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric interventions.
- Monitor fetal wellbeing and maternal health using electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
- Proven experience with high-risk obstetric cases and immediate newborn care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Experience working with electronic fetal monitoring.
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality.
