- Full-time, day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a Level II Trauma, Magnet-designated hospital
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout procedures, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic medical records system (Epic)
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning related to cardiac procedures
- Float within scope to cover various units within the hospital as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license (pending license accepted, must be in hand for auto-offer)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in a cardiac or electrophysiology setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology lab
- Proficiency with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
- Willingness to work on call, including one day per week and approximately one Saturday per month
