• Full-time, 3x12-hour day shifts, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative care to patients in a Level I trauma center within a busy PACU setting
• Monitor patient recovery, manage pain, and assess vital signs in accordance with hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and smooth recovery transitions
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system
• Cover floating assignments within hospital or affiliated facilities as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, licensing, and certification requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license or in application process with ETA confirmation
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in post-anesthesia or acute care nursing
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA and Red Cross only)
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Must be able to work full assignment with no attendance or behavior issues

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I trauma center or acute care hospital
• Ability to float confidently within hospital or to nearby facilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
