Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care for adult patients, including Med Surg, Orthopedics, and Urology units
• Work in a fast-paced environment managing ED HOLD patients and responding to patient needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient information using EPIC electronic health records
• Assist with procedures such as IV placement, bladder scans, and blood draws
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and certifications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Valid New York State nursing license or proof of application with applied date
• BLS certification required; CMSRN certification preferred
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Epic EMR experience from within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a trauma level 2 facility
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation for shift commute and possible floating across units
