Job Title

• Surgical Tech / Operating Room Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 4 days per week, dayshift

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms and ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are ready.
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including nurses and surgeons, to facilitate efficient procedures.
• Float within scope to support various surgical units and specialties as needed.
• Document surgical procedures accurately using electronic charting systems.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted).
• BLS certification.
• At least 2 years of surgical technology experience.
• Radiation badge must be provided if applicable.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to float within scope across different surgical units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and robotics (Da Vinci Xi) cases.
• Experience in trauma, transplant, or complex surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records.
