Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, respond to patient needs, and administer medications safely
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures
• Work at least every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to assignment
• Valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation
• Must complete a drug screen (negative 10-panel plus cotinine) within 12 months
• FBI/BCI background checks completed within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring
• Ability to recognize and respond to complex cardiac rhythms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
