Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, days, 4 x 10-hour shifts with variable start times
Key Responsibilities
- Provide OR circulator nursing services for orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery cases
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operative procedures
- Support preoperative and postoperative patient care in the OR setting
- Float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology as needed
- Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kansas RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of OR circulator experience with orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery
- Willingness to work a weekend on-call schedule (5 pm Friday to 7 am Monday) and holiday rotations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of OR nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- EPIC EMR experience
