- Full-time, contract (13 weeks), Days shifts, 35 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance communication and quality of life
- Collaborate closely with rehab team, nursing staff, and other healthcare partners
- Document services using medical software, with training provided
- Support a positive, resident-centered care environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in senior care settings
- Flexibility, compassion, and professionalism in care delivery
- Ability to pass a two-step PPD or TB skin test within 30 days of start date
- Current CPR certification from The American Heart Association or The Red Cross
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or senior living communities
- Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records
- COVID vaccination records or valid exemption
