• Full-time, day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, passing hospital-proctored tests with over 80% rhythm identification accuracy
• Ensure timely and complete documentation using Epic charting system
• Carry out critical drip management and respond to CVA cases as needed
• Float within the hospital to various units based on skill set requirements
• Maintain compliance with travel and licensing policies, including recent certifications and required modules

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State RN license in hand at the time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and active
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in telemetry or critical care units
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms, with passing scores on hospital proctored rhythm recognition tests
• Epic charting experience
• Successful completion of Relias EKG module within 72 hours of signing, scoring at least 100%, with critical rhythms fully identified

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical drips and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) care
• Previous travel or float nursing experience within a hospital environment
• Ability to complete all required training modules before orientation start date
