Registered Nurse - Oncology
Location: Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 3 days per week, day or night shifts (12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for oncology patients with various diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and more.
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central and peripheral lines.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, including dysrhythmias.
- Assist with specialized procedures such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Comply with all credentialing, fingerprinting, and hospital policies for assignment readiness.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid compact or state nursing license for Ohio.
- Minimum of 1 year of MS and oncology experience, including telemetry monitoring.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and line management.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification.
- Hematology/Oncology experience, especially with stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.
