Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients on a Cardiac Medical Unit.
• Monitor and manage cardiac patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, stroke, and post-Cath lab cases, using advanced telemetry skills.
• Perform procedures including thoracentesis, chest tube management, PD, trachs, pacemaker management, and cardiac cath coordination.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver bedside care, conduct shift handoffs, and ensure patient safety.
• Utilize IV pumps, Sara Steady’s, Hi-Flo, Bipap, and Kangaroo pumps to support patient needs.
• Follow unit policies, maintain documentation in Meditech Expanse, and adhere to hospital standards for patient care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac procedures.
• Experience with thoracentesis, PD, trachs, pacemakers, and cardiac cath procedures preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous hospital telemetry experience in a Level II Trauma or stroke center.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar documentation systems.
• Strong communication skills and bedside patient rounding experience.
