Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location Asheville, NC
Schedule / Job Type Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgery • Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols • Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment • Restock supplies and materials as needed
Required Qualifications:
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Experience in a cardiovascular surgery unit or similar environment • Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
