Schedule / Job Type
• Day shift, 36-40 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Assist and support cardiac surgeries in the CVOR setting, including set-up and start-up of cases
• Provide surgical technical support during cardiac and vascular procedures
• Participate in cardiac call rotations (minimum of approximately 6 shifts per month) with variable hours
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ensure compliance with facility standards and protocols
• Float within scope to other applicable facility units; adapt to different case types as needed

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months of current CVOR or Cardiovascular OR experience
• Strong vascular and cardiac surgical technician expertise
• Ability to start call shifts promptly and handle time-sensitive modules and procedures
• BLS certification required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine test within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills
• 2+ years of surgical tech experience in a CVOR setting
• Experience working with EPIC charting system or similar electronic medical records
• National certification through NBSTSA or NCCT preferred but not required
