Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type:
Travel, 13-week assignment, day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures on right and left heart caths.
• Support peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Follow unit-specific policies, including STEMI protocols and documentation requirements.
• Assist with patient preparation, post-procedure care, and patient education.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current RCIS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform advanced EP procedures preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
• Proficiency with GE lab equipment, Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra, and IVUS.
• Knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and patient management in a high-volume lab.
