Full-time, travel position, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit within a level II trauma center
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing knowledge of IV therapy, wound care, and surgical drain maintenance
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system
• Assist with procedures such as starting IVs, managing chest and surgical drains, and basic wound care
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including bedside shift reports and family communication

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Ability to prioritize care, multitask, and provide compassionate patient support

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a trauma or high-acuity Med/Surg environment
• Familiarity with telemetry and advanced patient monitoring tools
• Ability to adapt to new equipment and technology
