Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced ER setting
- Manage telemetry and dysrhythmia monitoring, including cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
- Administer blood products, IV insulin, and heparin protocols
- Perform renal failure management, wound care, and non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen)
- Utilize rapid response teams and manage tracheostomy patients, ensuring patient safety and compliance with care protocols
Required Qualifications
- Valid compact or state nursing license in hand at the time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
- Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and vasoactive drips
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) at scheduled hours from 19:00 to 07:30
- Willingness to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in PCU or step-down units
- Knowledge of renal failure management and wound care techniques
- Strong documentation skills using Epic or similar EMR systems
