Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 5x8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients in a busy GI endoscopy lab.
• Monitor and assist with procedures, including sedation and recovery.
• Collaborate with clinical staff in the prep and recovery areas, ensuring patient safety and education.
• Float within the service line as needed, supporting various units like PACU or ED.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current state RN license (Missouri license or compact license in your home state).
• At least 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in outpatient endoscopy or recovery.
• Proven experience with starting IVs and monitoring anesthesia care sedation.
• Procedure monitoring experience is a must.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• EPIC electronic charting system experience required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in outpatient endoscopy centers or pre/post-procedure care.
• Knowledge of GI procedures and ability to provide patient education.
