Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, including float responsibilities as needed
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Support patient and family education

Required Qualifications

• Current WV or Compact State RN license (pending licenses acceptable)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Telemetry skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, float environment with flexibility to work holidays and weekends
• Must have at least one managerial or charge nurse reference within the past 2 years
• Minimum 1 year of travel or facility experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Experience working in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit
• Ability to handle multiple patients and adapt to changing patient needs

Additional Notes

• Orientation begins every other Thursday with modules to be completed prior to start
• Candidates must provide a signed doctor’s note for medical exemptions from flu vaccination, if applicable
• Geographic eligibility is based on current address being more than 75 miles from facility
• Complete all required documentation by noon on the Monday prior to start date
• All certifications and references should be listed on application at the time of submission
