Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a lower acuity step-down environment, with a typical patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4, emergency ratio of 1:5
• Monitor telemetry and perform IV starts as required
• Read and interpret cardiac strips to assess patient status
• Administer medications, excluding drips, in line with unit protocols
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (WV or Compact State) with pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in telemetry, step-down, or similar units
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Ability to read cardiac strips and perform IV starts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous multiple hospital or travel experiences considered a plus
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Strong clinical judgment in telemetry and step-down care
