Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), travel nurse assignment, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Monitor and manage a patient ratio of 1:3 during shifts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe delivery and postpartum care.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies, including flu vaccination requirements during the flu season.
• Clock in and out for each shift to ensure proper payroll processing.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact state (pending licenses acceptable).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a labor and delivery setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN certifications via the American Heart Association.
• Must have a minimum of 75 miles distance from the facility; candidates greater than 75 miles away preferred.
• Must include SSN, DOB, and permanent home address at application submission.
• No recent probationary actions on license; previous employment at related health systems will be considered.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• Previous charge or management experience within labor and delivery units.
• Ability to complete required modules prior to shifts, including infection control and safety training.
