• Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care for neuro-related diagnoses within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit and a Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Support telemetry overflow for various patient populations, practicing diverse nursing skills
• Ensure compliance with neuro-specific documentation and assessments, including NIHSS and EKG testing
• Assist in supporting hospital needs by floating to other units when necessary
• Participate in required modules and continuing education for certification and competency maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with neurology, med/surg, or telemetry units
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification (must be completed prior to orientation)
• Basic EKG testing proficiency (provided through the agency if needed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification or experience in stroke care or neurology units
• Experience working in Level IV Epilepsy Monitoring Units (EMU)
• Ability to float within scope across multiple units and facilities

Additional Notes
