  • Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, averaging 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care for long-term acute care (LTAC) patients across various units, including subacute rehab, memory care, pulmonary, and ventilator units.
  • Monitor and assess patient status, administer medications, and document care accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, especially for patients with complex respiratory needs and dementia.
  • Float within hospital units as needed, delivering consistent, high-quality nursing care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Maryland or Compact LVN / LPN license at the time of submission.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a hospital or LTAC setting.
  • CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, with reliable attendance.
  • Strong organizational and clinical skills, especially in respiratory and dementia care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients.
  • Knowledge of wound care, post-surgical, and post-stroke rehabilitation needs.
  • Prior experience working in hospital float pools or multiple units.
