Schedule / Job Type
- Nights, full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical care nursing to patients in various ICU settings, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU.
- Float between units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, adhering to float policies.
- Monitor and manage ventilators, IV therapies, and telemetry for critically ill patients.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with all hospital protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Current valid license (compact or state license) in Ohio.
- Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel nursing experience highly preferred.
- Experience working in diverse ICU environments.
