• Night shift (4x12 hours, 18:45 – 07:15)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide bedside care to medical-surgical patients, including those requiring genitourinary, renal, and trauma care
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, utilize telemetry, and respond to emergency situations with rapid response teams
• Manage pre- and post-hemodialysis procedures and renal failure cases
• Administer medications such as Heparin, blood products, and manage IV therapy including PICC lines and central lines
• Operate respiratory equipment including chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen devices
• Ensure compliance with infection control, wound care, and isolation precautions

Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand or in application process)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in medical-surgical nursing or similar setting
• BLS certification
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and emergency response skills
• Ability to float within scope to other medical-surgical units
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in urology/nephrology or critical care units
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system
• Knowledge of complex IV therapies and renal procedures
• Strong understanding of infection control and wound management
