Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week, contract duration 13 weeks (possible extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care on a 34-bed medical-surgical unit with telemetry.
• Manage patient care with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-7 during night shifts.
• Adhere to unit protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Complete required documentation and electronic health records using Cerner EMR system.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines, including certifications and regular modules.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a Compact State; pending licenses accepted with conditions.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
• Must have required Certifications listed at the time of application.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of telemetry patient care.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
