- EEG Technician - Neurodiagnostics

- Tallahassee, FL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, including continuous EEG monitoring
- Assist in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, ensuring adherence to protocols
- Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Document and report test results accurately for clinical review
- Collaborate with medical staff within a teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in neurodiagnostics, specifically EEG
- Proof of CNIM (Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring) certification or eligibility to obtain it (approximately 75% of certification hours completed)
- Prior travel experience in similar roles is required
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts reliably
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certifications such as R.EEG, R.PSG, or EP are highly preferred
- Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma level 2 facility is a plus
