Job Title

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and capillary blood gases (CBGs) in intensive care units.
• Cover for EKG department overnight and provide ancillary coverage in various hospital areas as needed.
• Assist with intubations and may place laryngeal airway devices during code blue situations.
• Support neonatologists and hospitalists with respiratory care, working across all hospital units.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient stability during respiratory procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license (may take 6-8 weeks to obtain).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, NRP, PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of RT experience, including trauma level 2 or 3 experience.
• Ability to work in all hospital areas and handle a diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with Neonatologists and Hospitalists.
• Capable of assisting with intubation and managing advanced respiratory equipment.
• Flexibility to accept first-time travelers or travel duos; scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

Additional Notes

• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
• The position is on nights, requiring the ability to respond to call within 1 hour if needed.
• Scrubs can be any color; supportive footwear encouraged.
