Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, travel assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to cardiac and med/surg patients on the hospital's cardiac step-down unit
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond to abnormal findings promptly
• Assist with procedures such as thoracentesis, peritoneal dialysis, tracheostomy care, pacemaker management, cardiac catheterizations, and CIWA protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Conduct bedside shift handoffs with detailed patient updates
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire or appropriate compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as pacemaker management, thoracentesis, and cardiac caths

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing experience
• Knowledge of stroke, CHF, COPD, and chest pain protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment, handling complex cardiac cases
