Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) during open-heart and cardiothoracic procedures.
• Assist with procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, Impellas, Pericardial windows, and ECMO.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical standards throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Float to other ORs and service lines as needed, maintaining flexibility and dependability.

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiovascular OR or CVOR experience.
• Experience in open-heart surgery procedures preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in trauma, general, gynecology, urology, orthopedic, neuro, or plastics surgery considered a plus.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
