• MICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule / Job Type

• 12-week contract, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, rotating holidays, on-call not required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care to patients in the MICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies with prompt intervention.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and care activities in electronic health records.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including cross-unit coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU or MICU experience (preferably 2).
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet rotation requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or acute care ICU experience.
• Experience working in large hospital settings.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
