Travel – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | 36–40 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2+ years strongly preferred
• Experience in a Progressive Care, IMC, PCU, or Step-Down unit setting
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech documentation system
• Ability to meet every-other-weekend scheduling requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of PCU/Step-Down nursing experience
• Relevant specialty or unit-based certifications (e.g., PCCN)
• Prior travel nursing experience
