Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate clinical team members
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota or a compact state
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
  • Ability to work night shift hours within a Sunday through Saturday work week

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a LTC or SNF setting with a geriatric population
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in skilled nursing environments
