Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment with precision
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures
- Accurately document procedures using Cerner charting system
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with all safety, licensing, and certification requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in nuclear medicine (additional experience may be considered depending on unit)
- Current IN state license in nuclear medicine
- BLS, CNMT or NMTCB certification from an accredited organization
- Ability to work a standard 8-hour shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system and community hospital settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Prior experience in short-term acute care hospitals
- Flexibility to float within scope to other facilities as needed
- Experience with community hospital environments
