Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist – Special Procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology and special procedures including Y90, prostate embolization, tunneled catheter placement, thoracentesis, and paracentesis

• Operate and maintain Philips IR imaging equipment in accordance with department protocols and safety standards

• Accurately document patient care and procedural information using the Meditech documentation system

• Fulfill on-call requirements as assigned, approximately one week per month

• Collaborate with a team of clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced interventional radiology environment

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification in Radiography or a relevant specialty

• Current BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures

• Ability to function independently and adapt quickly to a fast-paced clinical unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro interventional radiology experience strongly preferred

• Previous travel assignment experience in an IR or special procedures setting

• Familiarity with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
