Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | 5x8-hour shifts | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | Facility work week: Friday–Thursday | 40 guaranteed hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of resident care
• Document resident status, progress, and care accurately in accordance with regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Dakota or a compact state
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday within the contract period
• Ability to meet compliance requirements prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an LTC or SNF environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in long-term care settings
