Travel – Registered Respiratory Therapist (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosol treatments and manage Bipap and mechanical ventilator patients across inpatient units and ICU settings
• Rotate through all inpatient floors including two 10-bed ICUs, working at the top of licensure
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
• Operate and maintain equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary rounding and collaborate with multiple care team disciplines
• Utilize AIDET framework to support positive patient experience standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Proficiency in critical care and emergency care settings
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with ventilator management and Bipap management
• Familiarity with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced bedside procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion
• Prior travel therapy experience in an acute-care hospital environment
• Comfort working in a float rotation model across multiple inpatient units
