Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite | 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee, or 8–10 hour shifts with a 40-hour weekly guarantee | Work week: Sunday through Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

• Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes

• Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and facility regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota or a compact state

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work day shift hours within a Sunday–Saturday work week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume LTC or SNF setting

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in skilled nursing environments

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary care environment
