Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | Onsite | 36 hours per week (3x12) or 48 hours per week (4x12)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5–6, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call requirements as needed to support unit staffing
• Float within service line scope to meet facility needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — Illinois license in hand required at time of submittal; compact license must match permanent residence
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Intermediate Care nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required (ACLS must be obtained by compliance deadline)
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• Ability to fulfill full contract term; mid-contract cancellations are not permitted to accept another assignment at the same health system
• Compliance with all pre-start requirements including modules (completed via WorkRamp) and labs within required timeframes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic charting system
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and Tier 2 compliance requirements
• Flexibility to work every other weekend as scheduled
