Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a large acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float as needed to designated units to care for the same patient population
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Work rotating day and night shifts, including every other holiday, to meet operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission (Compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry specialty prior to any travel assignments
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition
• Experience working in a large, high-volume acute care hospital environment
