Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care for adult patients in a general Med/Surg unit, with occasional pediatric patients
• Provide medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care as needed
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess patient needs and make critical clinical decisions
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor to meet the needs of a diverse patient population
• Ensure holistic care addressing patients' physiological, psychosocial, spiritual, and developmental needs
• Maintain accountability to the Unit Director and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment

Required Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state RN licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification
• Influenza vaccination (required, no exceptions)
• All required credentials must be submitted at least five business days prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Comfort and competency with a mixed adult and occasional pediatric patient population
