Travel Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab

Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday | STEMI call approximately 10–12 days per month | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and scrub in on a full range of cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, R/LHC, TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, DCCV, and TEE
- Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices including Impella and IABP
- Perform IFR and FFR diagnostic assessments in support of interventional cardiology procedures
- Utilize GE Innova imaging equipment and document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems
- Participate in STEMI call rotation and respond to emergent cases as required
- Float within related departments including EP lab and stress lab as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Demonstrated proficiency with Impella and IABP support devices
- Experience with PCI, PFO closure, and structural heart procedures
- Familiarity with IFR and FFR diagnostic techniques
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with TAVR and atherectomy procedures
- Prior travel assignment experience in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting
- Proficiency with GE Innova imaging systems, MacLab, and Meditech documentation platforms
