CT Technologist – Radiology / Cardiology

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of CT imaging studies (approximately 160 cases per day) across a wide variety of case types
- Support inpatient, emergency room, and adult ICU patient populations within a Level III Trauma Center environment
- Execute advanced CT procedures including CTAs, brain perfusion studies, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Conduct imaging of the abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal system, and brain
- Administer contrast agents and maintain compliance with imaging protocols and safety standards
- Utilize PACS systems to manage and transmit imaging data accurately and efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in CT (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 18 months of CT technologist experience
- Experience in inpatient, emergency room, and community hospital settings
- Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and adult ICU imaging
- Valid state license must be in hand prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in outpatient, Level I Trauma, or specialty hospital environments (including pediatric settings)
- Proficiency with IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations, drainage procedures, or myelography
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
- Experience operating GE scanner equipment
