Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 4x12 Hours (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing facility residents during overnight shifts
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in accordance with facility protocols and care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver resident-centered care
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Dakota or a compact state
  • Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
  • Ability to pass a facility-conducted background check and drug screen prior to assignment start
  • Willingness to comply with all pre-employment screening requirements, which may take 7–10 business days to process

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel nursing experience in LTC or SNF environments
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and long-term care documentation systems
