PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts | Flexible start times (6:00 AM–9:30 AM) | 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month | Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks | 26-week contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT imaging including whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine studies with a daily caseload of approximately 33 scans
  • Operate and maintain dual PET/CT scanners in a high-volume imaging environment
  • Manage a predominantly oncology-based caseload across both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Perform IV starts and utilize PACS for image acquisition and management
  • Conduct general nuclear medicine procedures as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
  • Valid Ohio state license in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current BLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine
  • Proficiency with IV starts and PACS
  • Inpatient and outpatient clinical experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with a high-volume PET/CT caseload in an oncology setting
  • Familiarity with neuroendocrine and cardiac nuclear imaging protocols
  • First-time travel technologists are welcome to apply
