Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes

• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:5–6 in accordance with unit standards
• Float to additional campuses within the health system as needed to support patient care
• Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit prior to independent practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts permitted; no study materials provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Charge RN experience preferred
